What makes a successful school?

It is a welcoming place, where teachers work together to help students achieve, where they know more about their students than just their grades and where students know that the staff works hard to help them to be all they can.

A successful school engages parents and community as well, showing them the efforts and progress of their students but also involving them in the learning and sharing process. A successful school is always seeking ways to be better.

All urban and rural schools highlighted show the efforts of Arizona educators to make a difference in the lives of their students. They work hard to bring their students to courses of rigor and then provide the support for them to succeed. Administrators and staffs of each school are to be complimented for their dedication, their efforts as a staff to build challenging programs, and the support they offer students and parents.
